Microaire Type Pal Cannulas Manufactured in Our Own Factory
Body contouring surgeons running power assisted systems, high volume liposuction clinics and equipment distributors are the buyers for this range. It covers aspiration cannulas in the tip patterns most used with reciprocating handpieces, infiltration cannulas for tumescent delivery, and blunt harvesting cannulas where the aspirate is destined for fat transfer. We machine the hub, draw and cut the tube, form the tip and finish every port by hand at our Sialkot plant. Each cannula is checked for hub concentricity, tube straightness and lumen clearance, because a cannula running off centre in a reciprocating handpiece vibrates and tires the hand.
Diameters commonly run from 2 mm to 5 mm with working lengths from 15 cm to 30 cm. Port layouts include single, triple Mercedes and multi-row basket arrangements, and closed blunt tips are made for harvesting. The hub is produced to the common PAL fitting so cannulas seat and lock in compatible handpieces. Tubes are satin or mirror finished, reusable and autoclavable at 134 degrees C, and are sold individually or as graduated sets.

Choosing the Right Microaire Type Pal Cannulas
Confirming Handpiece Compatibility
Power assisted systems are not universal. Before ordering, check the hub form and locking method on the handpiece you own, and measure the shank seat if you can. Our cannulas are made to the common PAL fitting and are compatible with MicroAire style handpieces, but we are not the original equipment maker for any system. If your unit uses a different hub, send a sample cannula and we will machine to that specification.
Diameter and the Effect of Reciprocation
Because the tip is moving, a power assisted cannula clears fibrous tissue with far less surgeon effort than a manual one, so many surgeons drop a size compared with traditional liposuction. Tubes of 3 mm to 4 mm handle abdomen and flanks efficiently, 2 mm to 3 mm suits arms, superficial planes and revision work, and 5 mm is generally reserved for large volume debulking in the deep layer.
Tip Choice for Harvesting Versus Debulking
If the aspirate is going to be reinjected, use a blunt or small multi-port harvesting tip at a lower diameter, since gentler geometry and reduced shear protect the fat intended for grafting. For pure debulking on the trunk, an aggressive triple-port Mercedes or a basket tip removes volume faster. Clinics running contouring and fat transfer within the same case usually keep separate cannulas for each stage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these cannulas made by MicroAire?
No. ADAS Instruments manufactures them independently, and they are not licensed by, affiliated with or produced for MicroAire. They are built to the common power assisted liposuction hub form and are compatible with MicroAire style handpieces. The brand name is used to describe fitment only. If you are unsure about your handpiece, send us a sample cannula and we will confirm the fit before you place an order.
Can PAL cannulas be reused after autoclaving?
Yes, they are reusable instruments. Flush the lumen immediately after the case before aspirate dries, brush the bore with a matched channel brush, rinse thoroughly, dry, then steam sterilise at 134 degrees C. Inspect the hub and lock, the tube for straightness and the ports for burrs before every use. Cannulas leave the factory clean rather than sterile, so the first processing happens in your unit.
Which tip pattern works best in fibrous areas such as the back?
A triple-port Mercedes tip in 4 mm is the usual answer, since the three apertures and pointed geometry work through dense fibrous fat while the reciprocating action does much of the effort. Basket tips also perform well in the deep layer. Keep a flatter spatula tip on hand for the final superficial passes, where control matters more than removal rate.
Do you offer wholesale pricing and private label on PAL cannulas?
Yes. Distributors and clinic groups buy at wholesale rates that improve with quantity, and our OEM programme covers laser marked branding, your own catalogue numbering and printed packaging, with low minimum quantities. A sample is produced for your approval before batch manufacture begins. Hospital tender enquiries are welcome, and documentation can be prepared to support the submission.
