Liposuction Aspiration Cannulas Manufactured in Our Own Factory
Aesthetic surgeons, body contouring clinics, fat grafting practices and distributors serving them buy from this section. Coverage runs across the whole aspiration side of a case: large bore cannulas for debulking deep fat, medium gauges for the working layer, fine tips for superficial refinement and neck work, blunt harvesting cannulas for fat that will be reinjected, and matching handles in Fournier and pistol grip styles. Tube, hub and handle are machined and welded here, then the lumen is honed and the ports are deburred by hand so nothing catches on tissue during the stroke. Each cannula is checked for straightness, hub concentricity and free flow.
Outside diameters run from 2 mm to 6 mm and working lengths from 15 cm to 35 cm, with port count from one to six and port position at the tip or along the shaft. Hubs are Luer lock, Toomey or threaded to suit your handle and tubing. Finish is polished inside and satin outside. Cannulas are reusable and autoclavable at 134 degrees C, and a cleaning stylet or brush is recommended after every case.

Choosing the Right Liposuction Aspiration Cannulas
Choosing diameter for the layer you are treating
Diameter controls both speed and smoothness. Cannulas of 4 mm to 6 mm remove volume quickly from the deep layer of abdomen, flanks and back. The 3 mm to 4 mm range is the everyday working size for most body areas. Reserve 2 mm to 3 mm for the neck, arms, inner thighs and final feathering, where a large port would leave grooves. Finish superficial passes with the smallest cannula on the tray.
Tip pattern and port layout
A Mercedes tip with three offset ports cuts a broad tunnel and is the general workhorse. Triport and multiport designs raise flow for high volume cases. A single hole cannula gives the most control and the lowest risk of contour irregularity, so it suits superficial passes. Spatula and flat tips shave fibrous tissue such as gynaecomastia or the male flank. Basket tips are used mainly for harvesting fat intended for grafting.
Hub type, handle and length
Match the hub to the equipment you already own. Toomey hubs pair with large syringes and high vacuum tubing, Luer lock suits smaller syringes and fat transfer. Threaded hubs lock into a reusable handle, which lets one handle serve many cannulas and lowers the cost per tip. For length, 15 cm to 20 cm covers face, neck and arms, 25 cm to 35 cm reaches across the abdomen, flanks and thighs from a single access port.

Frequently Asked Questions
How are reusable liposuction cannulas cleaned between cases?
Flush the lumen with water immediately so fat and blood do not set, then pass a matched cleaning brush or stylet along the full length. Follow with enzymatic detergent and ultrasonic treatment, flush again, dry the bore with air and inspect the ports for burrs. Steam sterilise at 134 degrees C with the hub open. A blocked or scratched lumen is the usual cause of poor flow.
Which cannulas suit fat harvesting for grafting?
Harvesting favours blunt tips with several small ports, typically 3 mm to 4 mm outside diameter, run at lower vacuum through a Luer lock hub into a syringe. Smaller ports keep fat parcels intact for reinjection. Basket and multiport harvesting patterns in this section are made with rounded port edges for that reason, and pair with our injection cannulas.
Can you manufacture a cannula to our own tip design?
Yes. Send a drawing with diameter, length, port pattern and hub type, or post us a sample tip, and we will machine a prototype for your approval before running the batch. Custom laser marking with your brand and size codes is included. Minimum quantities are low, which makes it practical for a single clinic or a new distributor line.
How long does a stainless steel aspiration cannula last?
With proper cleaning, a reusable steel cannula serves for years rather than cases. Working life ends when the tube bends, the ports lose their rounded edge or the hub weld loosens. Inspect straightness against a flat surface and run a finger over the ports before each list. Bent cannulas should be retired rather than straightened, since the lumen may already be deformed.

Adas Instruments manufactures a complete range of liposuction aspiration cannulas in German surgical stainless steel — Mercedes, basket, spatula, cobra, Toledo and accelerator tips in diameters from 2 mm to 6 mm and lengths from 15 cm to 35 cm. Every liposuction cannula is available with Luer-lock, threaded, Super or Toomey hub fittings to match your aspiration system, and all are fully autoclavable for years of service. Trusted by plastic surgeons and distributors in the USA, Europe and Latin America.
Which aspiration cannula tip should I choose?
Mercedes tips are the all-round standard for volume work; basket tips excel in fibrous or previously treated areas; spatula tips refine superficial layers; micro tips below 2.5 mm handle the face and neck. Most practices stock at least these four.
What fittings do your cannulas come with?
Every model is offered with standard Luer-lock (aluminium or steel), Super Luer-lock, threaded fitting, Super fix handle, or Toomey hub for 60cc syringes — matching all common aspiration and fat-transfer systems.
