What a three hole liposuction cannula is
A three hole liposuction cannula has three ports behind a closed, rounded tip. That much is true of several patterns, so the layout is what separates them. Google AI Mode, read on 21 October 2026, names three: the holes stepped on a diagonal, the holes set in a straight row, and a three hole spatula tip. Ours is the straight row. Our own photograph of this cannula shows three elongated ports one after another along one side of the shaft, which makes it a straight three hole cannula.
A straight row keeps all three ports facing the same way. The surgeon chooses the plane the suction works on by turning the handle, and the three ports share the draw along that plane. The AI Mode answer describes the result as controlled, balanced aspiration along a single plane, suited to uniform fat extraction.
This listing is one of the few in our range with no size or hub choice on it. Where a size table would normally go, this page lists what we need to know from you instead.
Key design features
Three ports in a straight row
The three ports sit one behind the other on the same side of the shaft, each an elongated slot. The row runs back from just behind the tip, so a longer stretch of one face of the cannula is drawing than on a one or two hole.
A closed, rounded tip
The end is closed and rounded, the usual shape for an aspiration cannula. It leads the shaft through the fat, and the three ports behind it do the work of drawing tissue in.
No size or hub on the listing
The one hole, two hole, pyramid and Kotzur cannulas in this family each have an order form for diameter, length and hub. This one does not. Tell us what you need in the order note or in a message before it ships. We would rather ask than guess.
One price
The listing is 32 dollars. With no hub choice there is no hub price on top. For a hospital order or a distributor line, ask us for a quantity price.
What to tell us when you order
There is no size table on this page because the listing has no sizes on it. The table below is what we need to know instead. The last column shows what the other four cannulas in this family are made in, for reference only; it is not a promise about this one.
| What to tell us | Why we ask | What the rest of this family is made in |
|---|---|---|
| The diameter | This listing has no diameter choice | 2 to 5 mm across the other four patterns |
| The length | This listing has no length choice | 10 to 35 cm across the other four patterns |
| The hub or handle | This listing has no hub choice | Seven: super fix handle A or B, aluminum or steel Luer lock, super Luer lock, Toomey hub, threaded fitting |
| How many | Quantity orders are priced separately | Any quantity, from one for a tray |
Where it is used
The Google AI Mode answer read on 21 October 2026 names these uses and sizes for the straight row pattern. They are its words, not our measurements.
| Use | What the answer says | Why the straight row helps |
|---|---|---|
| Uniform fat extraction | Controlled, balanced aspiration along a single plane | All three ports face the same way |
| Smoother body contouring | Typically 3 mm for finesse work | The draw is shared along the row, not taken at one point |
| Larger body regions | Lengths up to 30 cm | A long row of ports on a long shaft |
| Facial and small areas | Lengths from 15 cm | One face of the shaft can be kept away from the skin |
What it is for, and what it is not for
Three ports in a row are a general working pattern. These are the jobs where another cannula of ours is the better choice.
| Job | Use this cannula? | What to use instead |
|---|---|---|
| Even suction along one plane | Yes | This is the job it is made for |
| Suction from every side at once | No | A Mercedes, with three ports in one ring |
| Fibrous or previously treated tissue | No | A cutting tip, such as our cobra or V dissector cannulas |
| Infusing tumescent fluid | No | An infiltration cannula, from our tumescent infiltration range |
| A handle fixed to the shaft | Not this listing | Our three hole fix handle cannula |
How it compares with the rest of the family
Five patterns make up this family on our site, from one port to nine. The second column is read off our own photograph of each tip, and the last off each product’s own order form.
| Pattern | What the tip carries, from our own photograph | What that is for | On our order form |
|---|---|---|---|
| One hole | one elongated port on the side, a short way behind the tip | control in small areas and on finishing passes | 2 to 5 mm, 10 to 35 cm, 7 hub styles |
| Two hole | two elongated ports in a line on the same side | a little more draw than one port, still from one side | 2 to 5 mm, 15 to 35 cm, 7 hub styles |
| Three hole (this page) | three elongated ports in a row along one side | even suction along one plane of the fat | no size or hub choice on the listing, so tell us both when you order |
| Pyramid | one large port nearest the tip and two smaller ports behind it, one either side | ports that can be turned away from the skin | 2 to 5 mm, 15 to 35 cm, 7 hub styles |
| Kotzur 9 holes | nine holes: a larger port near the tip and small round holes further back along the shaft | leveling and harvesting over a broader stretch of the shaft | 2 to 5 mm, 15 to 35 cm, 7 hub styles |
Materials and finish
Every three hole cannula we make is formed from high quality medical grade stainless steel. The steel itself is made to a German specification. We do not publish a grade number.
The three ports are cut through the wall of the tube one after another in a row, and their edges are what tissue passes over on the way in. The shaft is straight. The hub or handle at the back end is whichever one you ask for, and it changes how the cannula connects, not anything about the tip.
Caring for it
Flush it as soon as it comes out of use, then push a brush through the full length of the lumen. Three ports in a row are three places for fat to lodge, so clean each one from the outside rather than trusting the brush to reach them all. Dry it, steam sterilize it on the normal instrument cycle, and store it straight.
Ordering and wholesale
The three hole liposuction cannula is made by Adas Instruments in our own workshop and sold direct, which is why the price sits where it does against the catalog houses. Order one for a single tray, or in quantity for a hospital list or a distributor line. We do OEM work under your own brand and your own item numbers. Send us a sample and we will hold a run to your pattern rather than ours. Stock items ship from our own workshop. Backorder items take 10 to 12 working days to make. Every instrument carries a three year replacement warranty against manufacturing defects. Production is controlled under an ISO 13485 quality management system.
Frequently asked questions
What is a three hole liposuction cannula used for?
It is used for fat removal and harvesting in body contouring. Ours carries its three ports in a straight row on one side, so the suction works evenly along one plane of the fat, which is why the pattern is described as one for uniform extraction.
How much does a three hole liposuction cannula cost?
It is 32 dollars on this listing. There is no hub choice, so no hub price is added on top. Every cannula carries our three year replacement warranty against manufacturing defects, and quantity orders for a hospital or a distributor are priced separately on request.
What size does a three hole cannula come in?
The listing does not offer a size choice, so no size is printed here. Tell us the diameter and length you need in the order note or in a message. For reference, the other cannulas in this family are made from 2 to 5 mm and from 10 to 35 cm.
What are the different types of three hole liposuction cannula?
The layout of the three holes is what changes. They can be stepped along a diagonal, set in a straight row, or cut into a flattened spatula tip. Ours is the straight row. We list the diagonal pattern separately as the three holes diagonal liposuction cannula.
Which hub does it come with?
The listing does not say, and we would rather you told us than guessed. The other cannulas in this family are made with seven back ends: a super fix handle in style A or B, an aluminum or steel Luer lock, a super Luer lock, a Toomey hub or a threaded fitting.
