What a two hole liposuction cannula is
A two hole liposuction cannula is a steel tube with a closed, rounded end and two ports cut through its side. Google AI Mode, read on 21 October 2026, calls it a two port liposuction cannula or a 2 port aspiration cannula, and it is also called a double hole liposuction cannula. All three names mean the same tip.
Two hole cannulas come in two layouts. In one, the holes sit in line, one behind the other on the same side of the shaft. In the other, they face opposite ways. Materials and finish
Every two hole cannula we make is formed from high quality medical grade stainless steel. The steel itself is made to a German specification. We do not publish a grade number.
The two ports are cut through the wall of the tube one behind the other, and their edges are what tissue passes over on the way in. The shaft is straight. On the aluminum Luer lock the hub is aluminum, and on the steel Luer lock it is steel.
Caring for it
Flush it as soon as it comes out of use, then push a brush through the full length of the lumen and clean both ports from the outside. The second port sits further back, so check it as carefully as the first. Dry it, steam sterilize it on the normal instrument cycle, and store it straight so the shaft keeps running true.
